But while foreign vampires live for 40 days or 400 years, ours is eternal and always returns to make life miserable for generations to come. The name of the Bulgarian vampire is our inability to forgive, the inability to reconcile. For this reason, the grain of our life is constantly ground by the stones of greed, revenge, lack of humility.
