DESCRIPTION

"Vampire" is among the eternal Bulgarian plays, hiding one of the secrets of the Bulgarian character: why we live hard with each other.
According to beliefs, the vampire is the shadow of the sinner after his death. But while foreign vampires live for 40 days or 400 years, ours is eternal and always returns to make life miserable for generations to come. The name of the Bulgarian vampire is our inability to forgive, the inability to reconcile. For this reason, the grain of our life is constantly ground by the stones of greed, revenge, lack of humility. After 120 years of triumphant life on the Bulgarian theater stage, Anton Strashimirov's play continues to affect the audience with its impetuous plot and its purifying energy.
