The Swan by Elizabeth Egloff is a play about the deadly balance on the tightrope between the real and the unreal. About turning fear into love and love into fear. About the fire of sleep that turns everyday life into ashes. The characters in this hypnotic plot give the actors the opportunity to show deep acting skills, to get a story in which the dangerous utopia rings the wish to be accepted as real. The performance is a successful return of director Petar Batakliev to his home stage after years of work in Canada.
